As an early adopter of the technology in 2000, I started out by making mobile-specific UI for Quake 2 and Wolfenstein 3D, and mobile-friendly maps for Quake. Snails was released in 2002 for Pocket PC (later called Windows Mobile) and won numerous awards for several years.
